Buses in Rome

DB/BE could learn from Rome. All their urban fleet were three door low floor standee single deckers with pre-paid tickets which you validate after you board. Really efficient. They pull up, people get off, people get on , off we go!SOme doors were supposedly no entry /exit, but no one took any notice of that

One ticket cost €1.50 and is valid for 100 minutes across the buses, trams and Metro , also suburban rail.

They also had some buses marked as EXPRESS which omitted many stops

Revenue protection comprised teams of three who boarded simultaneously through all three doors
