Can't find anyone talking about this...
Always great to see cancer awareness brought to the fore, but I find this whole presentation a little nauseating...
I'm far from being 'a prude', but for channel 4 to be given this project is just more than a little wrong for me.
'Has anyone got any cancer slogans? no?...(silence)...'Oh well come on and tweet in your cancer slogans...'
'Well here we have "baby cancer"...look...(they show a baby doll wearing a bib that says 'baby cancer'...followed by silence...think they were expecting laughs)
    Anyone watching?

Is it the way they're raiding money that you object to?

Do you think people might donate if it was more along the lines of what you'd like?

To answer your question, people are donating by the shedload which is/was inevitable and also is/was great.
Read my original post...how did you get to "people would donate if it was more along the lines that I would like?" from what I said?

I was expressing my unhappiness with the air of disorganisation and general malaise (pardon the pun) that seemed to be flowing through the whole presentation. Awkward, Unrehearsed, and celebrities out of their comfort zone is what I witnessed tonight.

It's a Health & Fitness forum. Not a TV production forum.

My interest in it all doesn't extend beyond the figure that was raised for charity and the raising of awareness of the different types of cancer people need to look out for.
