outboard paint

    hello all ......
    can any one advise me on what outboard paint to use on the lower leg that would be suitable to use on an outboard leg . i did use plastic coat last year but it did,nt seem to do any good .. i have heard that hammerite paint is good for an outboard lower leg ? but before i go there i would like some advise . thanks all ...
    ps i am just painting the lower leg part and propeller .

    If you have sanded down to the metal at any time you will need to use an etching primer first and then you can use any of the topcoat paints.
