Hi all, I am going to get a new computer but not sure which one to get. It has to be new and my price range is 350-400 euro. I will be using it for school stuff , browsing the Internet and gamimg. I would like to buy in a shop and not online. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

Go to a shop, look at their offerings and pick the one you like most or suits your needs most.

I got a laptop around this time last year, from a chain of stores with really annoying adverts. What I noticed was that after the middle of November prices go upwards in Christmas catalogues. In my view this could enable the January sale €50 discount without taking a hit on margins, and coining it in over Christmas. Do I sound cynical?

Buy week 1 November. I got an i5 8GB Ram 1TB, 15 inch HP for around €450 last year, it was €550 a week later.

You mentioned gaming, a laptop with a GPU powerful enough for gaming will start at around €700 online.
Gaming laptops in physical shops will start at around €1,000.

I wasnt looking for a proper gaming laptop. I just wanted one to be able to run basic online games with no lag and I wanted one with Microsoft Word for school .
