Roco's date with destiny less than 4 days away now. Bookies have it pretty much even steven. A win would be a boost for Cork underage hurling and a good building block for minor c'ship this year. Young lads can be unpredictable but I think if Roco turn up they have a great chance. Not much noise coming out of Thurles from what I see/hear. I think they quietly fancy their chances. I see that 2 match suspension for their half back wasn't lifted which is an awful pity for the lad. Thurles very aggrieved apparently.

Theres a bit on Premierview about it

Some fella had a post up saying ?Rochestwon were fierce cocky and had pissed teams off thru out the games which is bs if you ask me- post has disappeared since - wind up job

I saw no cockyness at any stage and they will have to work very hard to beat thurles

He said thurles trained in Mallow but you'd expect that at this stage and Liam Sheedy been into them too. - thurles under fierce pressure to win with there history

You can be sure Thurles will come out with all guns blasing - seeing as how there's been red cards in there last few games and One of em sent off for tipp minors last year,  it's bound to be firey and Rochestown would want to concentrate on there own game and not be drawn into it

I agree with ya, im hoping for a great game, with Rochestown to cause an upset, tho the ffotball must be a distraction

these are great lads if they all turn up they will shade it, twill go down to the wire

If anyones around Mallow Sat try to get down to support the cork lads.

It would hardly be an upset when Rochestown are priced as favorites!!

Thurles have barely got over fairly mediocre opposition in the last 2 games and are missing the wing back as you said so I doubt they are in anyway cocky.

This would not be seen as a great Thurles side but they have some quality all the same. Should be tight enough and hopefully we get a nice day for hurling.

not really a bettin g man and dont follow the ggs to much but it would be big surprise in some parts Cork if Rochestown lift Harty - well down the pecking order here at the start

the cocky attitude was being said for Rochestown, not Thurles maybe i wasnt clear on that earlier - not true at all

may the best team win, hoepfully Rochestown and hurling a winner also

Fair play to TippFM, they wished em the best in the football - ha ha

I would go with this team v. Clare .....I know I will be shot but i think Cahalane should be giving time and games at full back also Pa Cronin should be full forward ...........
    Anthony Nash
Shane O Neill Damien Cahalane Conor O Sullivan
Cormac Murphy Mark Ellis Chris Joyce
    Daniel Kearney Aidan Walsh
Conor Lehane Bill Cooper Seamus Harnedy
Alan Cadogan Pa Cronin Luke Farrell....

Paudi Sull and Hoggie no harm for them to be subs they need to show more leadership ...in fairness to Sully hes only back and did not receive any great service last night ......Conor Lehane can take over the free taking for now along with Cronin and Nash ....

Lehane isn't good enough for frees, he misses two or three of them a game. Hoggy on the other hand may be very lazy on the field doing zilch but he rarely misses a free an important asset for any team which hopes to be at the ecompetitive end of a season.

stronger side than last week imo. Walsh in his best position, McLoughlin at wingback. O'Shea to switch with Walsh on puck outs? Was impressed with O'Farrell in the Waterford Crystal, seemed really up for it and had a decent cameo last week.

Think that team looks better. Going to be a close game but I think lack of possession from puckouts will catch us again.

No Andy Walsh in the subs ??

Best to luck to ROCO in the Harty Cup final. If they sharpen up in front of the posts they have a great chance.

Yes having predicted a Thurles win since early in the group stages I have to change horses as I cannot see Rochestown being beaten now. They have improved as the competition went on and all the momentum is with them now while Thurles have not been able to reach their full potential. Thurles also have a few internal issues that could be holding them back. The dual dilemma was Rochestowns main handicap but they seem to have managed the situation very well.
Looking forward to a close game though and weather conditions could have a significant influence on how it plays out.

    Rochestown down 1-6 v 2-7 at ht

    No joy for Rochestown.
They came back brilliantly to lead by a point with 10 mins left but didn't score again.
    1-12 v 2-12 was the final scoreline.

still in the All Ireland so all is not lost.

Well just shows always go with your first instinct.
Thurles kept the best to last. Powerful performance today. Hard luck Rochestown, could struggle for the semifinal after that loss but they have had some year so far.

I see Cork lost to Carlow in the leinster minor league. Any idea of the team and whether they were missing many? On the face of it it's a very poor result.

Super Sigerson final ends in a one point win for DCU after AET, very enjoyable game, UCC forwards should have done better, left it behind them I think!

    Lads,
Whats the story with the pitch? It doesn't look great at all

Great match so far. Cork playing a lot better than last week. Aidan Walsh and Cads playing particularly well. Anyone else think all three cards were harsh?

Looked shocking last week as well.

Ye're looking good so far, possibly should be further ahead. Well on top in the backline and the inside forward line giving the Clare backs the runaround... if you could get Lehane on the ball more, you'd win this, I'd say.

I assume Clare have McGrath on the bench though, he could change the game.

    I thought all were correct.

Clare with a tackle around the neck and a frontal charge with elbow high and Harnedy with a chop on the wrist.

All in the heat of battle but deservedly yellow cards.

I think Cork should have got maybe 1 or 2 more frees especially for fouls on Cadogan but thats the way it goes.

Really heating up to be a great match. Both teams really want the win!

Your players can't miss tonight. Superb performance. Look like scoring anytime the ball gets into your forwards.
