weather certainly playing to KKs better battling qualities and negating any advantage we may have had with Cadogan or KIngston running at them

I will be shocked if Cork get within 6 points today.

Me too, I hope we give them a game though and not roll over like I think we could. A win would put kk in serious trouble, but I cannot see that happening.

4 a piece after 10 but cadogan is on fire won every ball and good low ball been played in.

Good start, battling well. Ref is riding us though

The referee is being incredibly biased towards Kilkenny. We have 3 yellow cards already.

I think we should have had a good few more frees. Ref is being very biased for Kilkenny

    Kilkenny 0-11 Cork 0-11 HT

    Clare 1-2 Cork 0-5

Hoggy will never take a free again. Lehane hasn't missed one.

Cadogan needs to change his boots! Keeps slipping and sliding!

    Pitch condition doesn't help either!

    We're gonna get hammered.

KKs main players are nudging them ahead.

The swing in the first half cost us badly with them getting a few extra frees and us not getting a few.It was like a 6 point swing. If we had got ahead I think we would go on to win it.

KK seem curiously brittle though but we seem very light up front.

By the way I should have said vulnerable not brittle there!

This ref is an absolute disgrace. How the **** he's allowed ref inter county games is beyond me. Hasn't a ****ing clue.

Kilkenny player just hauled the Cork player to the ground!! No free!

It really is a shocking performance by the ref

Terrible day in both codes, could end up with both teams going down

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭Mahony0509

We're gonna be relegated in both codes, maybe the county board will realise what the **** is going wrong when that happens.

Bad and all as the ref is the game was won after halftime, we couldnt match KK when they upped the pressure

2-11 to 0-9 Ft in Ennis

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,864 ✭✭✭The White Feather

I didn't think there were much between the teams. KK relied on their main guys to nudge them on.

A few frees were not given to Cork at a few vital times as well as Cadogan and others slipping at crucial times. Pitch was poor.

A better ref would have had us up at half time and I think we would have pushed on. We had a fair few bad wides in the first half too.

Its very disappointing and things didn't go for us today but just think if Fennelly,Hogan and TJ Reid had a few misses? KK would have been in big trouble.

Cork terrible in both codes today. Calahane is nowhere near a cork senior hurler. Anyone know why lorcan McLaughlin isn't getting a game??

James mcgrath sent patrick horgan off in munster final has he ever forgiven us for the critism he got?

This just gets worse doesn't it. Footballers going down to Clare, shocked when I saw it but then again is it a real surprise? But hey, sure we'll have a shiny brand new monument to Frank stadium by the summer - who cares if we are division 3 for football or 1b for hurling!

Was Frank in Nowlan Park today or did he call home when he was up?

I'm normally good at syphering out inherent meanings but what exactly do you mean?

Paddy Kelly couldn't seem to point out whats wrong with Cork on Allianz League Sunday. He knows damn well whats going on, he's afraid to talk.
