    Sharks absolutely fascinate me. I can't be underwater anymore though. Even dunking my head in the bath terrifies me. If I'm in a swimming pool I can't be underwater for long, and keep panicking and looking behind me for sharks. I think its the muffled underwater sound that you hear in shark movies.

    In the pool on holidays when I was about 17, I got it into my head that a great white was swimming behind me, I started making ugghhh kind of noises and running/thrashing to get to the side of the pool and jump out. I had to tell my parents there was a cockroach in it and they were looking for it for ages :o

    I reckon thats the stupidest thing anyone has ever admitted to on boards.

    Eeeek, looks pretty horrendous alright! I am actually full on afraid of blood and guts so that's one thing I can't watch!

    The mystery is that there weren't more similar incidents given the number remoteness of Russian locations, the natural hazards , predators, not to mention the protection of secret military bases.

    my husband can't stand them either. I like a good ripe one but hate anything banana flavoured.

    Serial killers and their spouses fascinate me. How can they claim to have no idea that their OH was a mass murderer? Baffles me and scares me to think that maybe it is possible to be close to such an evil person and have no clue.

    Stories of people being buried alive and stories of terrible human experimentation fascinate and terrify me.

    Mysterious child disappearances and unsolved murder cases are fascinating. Especially under unusual circumstances.

    Glad to see I'm not the only one with an irrational fear of sharks in the bath.

    I'm more of Khmer Rouge man myself though; when it comes to documentaries about horrific regimes, they're kind of like the hipster's Nazis.
