I reported this post as I found it nasty and spiteful and don't know if any action was taken on it. If someone had said what was said in that post to me in real life, or on Facebook or on YouTube or wherever I can react and deal with it by myself, but this is boards and the rules are that it's the moderators who deal with…

This is the only answer you need. Anything else reeks of "how much of a dick can I be back within the limits of your rules" and that's why we don't do things that way.

I'm really tired of seeing this subject come up again and again and again, we're done.

Members - we cannot overstate how much we appreciate and need you to report posts - this is your site too (which is why you are members and not "users") - but we will not have some means for you to be involved or informed of what happens after that, that's not how our processes work and that's not how they're going to work.
