I was looking at this box on tvtrade.ie. Does anyone have or know if this box is any good. I'll just use it for bbc, ITV channel 4 etc.

Family member had one lasted about 4 months then it started to default itself
every week or so then started to have trouble finding terrestial stations
signal strength stayed around 30% no matter what you did even unplugging the terrestial aerial it still thought it had 30% took a coons age for the terrestial stations to come through
It was replaced as faulty with an amiko mini combo HD
That seems to be working fine

If your only interested in sat stations it never had problems with that side of things only the terrestial

Im not saying the 150C are no good could just have been a faulty box it happens

there are some for sale on adverts

If it is only for Sat channels you might like something small and neat ......

Here's the main thread from the terrestrial forum if its any help .http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056680966 If its just satellite only you need for UK channels you should consider a freesat box which has 7 day epg.

Is there a box which combines freesat (7 day epg) and soarview? Have the Ariva 120 at the present and it is grand, but miss the 7 day epg.

You would have to go to a different type of linux based box like a vu+ for example to get that.

Thanks for that Tony, just done a quick google and wow, they are expensive. €298 for twin tuner models. Think I can do without 7 day epg for a while :)

How about the cheaper alternative Sab™ Unix HD Triple Tuner, works out roughly €140 delivered?
