    Might as well have called it Windows X. Xbox One. One OS to rule them all.

    Except that windows wont be running on the Xbox One so I bet they had to change it back to a 10 :P

    The numbering is stupid and bizarre; the move to a more unified OS though was unsurprising in the least. If they got to a point where they felt comfortable adding their OS to the Xbox platform as well, well that would be an interesting day.

    My cousin sent me a link from a poster on Reddit, not sure how true, who claimed that Windows 9 was skipped because of some applications incorrectly detecting it as Windows 95 or 98. If true, then the programs should be reading the OS version number and not a text string.

    It looks impressive, Continuum especially looks nice - good collaboration of Windows 7 and Modern UI in one. Not forcing you on to touch only.



    MODS: Can we merge all the Windows 9 and 10 threads into one big "Windows 10 Thread" thread please since it's official and maybe sticky is? Thanks!
