0-0 now, live on BBC 2 NI.

Declan Fitzpatrick red carded for absolutely nailing an italian in the face with a smashing right hook. Definitely provoked by something though unfortunately no clear TV angle.

Something happened but it seems it happened in the middle of a big group of players and the camera couldn't pick it up.

McCloskey just went on a big run, very impressive. Big handoff in it.

Unfortunately Clive Ross' debut comes to a premature end due to front row replacement.

This match is sorely going to test Hagz's theory that a red card equates to a loss!

Ulster have a fine collection of red cards in 2014.

Match is rubbish so far. 20 mins gone and still 0-0.

No TBP in this one anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

No TBP but should still win. Ulster having all the territory but are quite error prone in attack. Too many passes going to ground and spillages.

It's last season all over again with all these attacking errors.

Not sure if we'll win, though we are pretty experienced at the 14 man game.

Who's the absolute beast that just carried water out to PJ?!

I think I've seen games in torrential rain once or twice go to half time scoreless.

I don't think I've ever seen a game played in 23C, no wind and blue skies go to half time scoreless. Must be a big penalty and error count already.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

I'm not sure about some of these scrum penalties.

    Zebre TH is popping up.

    This is muck.

What are Ulster playing at? They're actually going to end up costing themselves points with the mental way they're playing.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

One very large boot up the arse required.

    what odds on 0-0?

If Zebre have any composure about them they should sneak this one

Fitzpatrick's punch in isolation was worthy of a red card but there is absolutely no way it was unprovoked.

That must be 3 reds in less than 10 games. I have no idea when the previous red prior to Payne's would have been. Not recently anyway.

McCloskey looks good. Heaney has made a few costly handling errors.

Does anyone have any idea how I get BBC NI on UPC?

    You get it by default?

    It's on channel 109 now.

    Held up?

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

If he just scored despite having 4 men hanging off him I will be most unimpressed.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

He should not have made that kind of ground.

tommy bowe's leg in the way there. I think it was grounded

Good man Fitz. Inconclusively held up. :pac:

    Jackson looked hurt there...

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

There's no way you can say it was clearly forward.

    No you're right I think that's a try.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

We are complete mince. Haven't even got out of our half so far in the second half.

I don't think it was any sort of forward so no idea how they took so long. On the understanding that it has to be clearly forward it was obvious from the first viewing.

Jackson could have been looking at a yellow card anyway if they went back.

Brutal game. How can you pick a man of the match out of this bunch? Probably easy to give it to Bergamasco on account of his hair.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

YES! 50 minutes gone and we finally get some points.

    7-3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

He said advantage over no? 5m scrum surely?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    Be still my beating heart.

I think Ulster will still sneak this through experience and self belief. Feel bad for Zebre as this would be a crushing defeat and they really need a win.

He called advantage over when he thought we had taken the advantage, which we hadn't because we passed it forward.

Pity it wasn't raining...ball might have stuck in the hands a bit better...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

    I hate seeing Gilroy kick!

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Stevenson is hopeless with the ball in his hands.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

This match is taking an age to finish, gonna miss the start of the hurling

Come on Zebre! Is it nearly over yet?

Nothing against ulster I just want Italian rugby to get stronger and this would be a great result for them.

    TRY!! Great hands from gilroy

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

No way can he call that obstruction. Get on with it. Zebre unlucky but they can only blame themselves.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

    BULLS**T!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

Oh wow. That happens about every second line break. Someone runs a dummy line and they go into their marker. Not a hope that person would have made a tackle anyway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 911 ✭✭✭Irlandczyk

Oh wow, that's disappointing. Was a well-worked try.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,907 ✭✭✭✭mfceiling

Right i'm off to the pub...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,767 ✭✭✭✭molloyjh

Balances out as there was no knock on before that. Ulster stripped the ball while lying all over it.

  • Administrators Posts: 54,424 Admin ✭✭✭✭✭awec

Game over. Zebre with a nice DG.
