Everyone on the dole is lazy.

Not much will change. We're used to all technological advancements at the moment. They just keep getting better but not many new and interesting inventions will happen in the next 50 years.

In 2065 we'll have the republican party blaming the democrats for not doing enough to tackle climate change

Former members of Islamic state will now be heads of global energy companies controlling vast solar arrays farming electricity from the middle east.

The motors section will be gone because nobody will own a car anymore. All cars will be autonomous self driven vehicles and will be ordered on demand like taxis. Most people will work from home so the daily commute will be over. Manufacturing industry will be mostly automated as 3d printing makes fabricating almost anything a simple automated process.

The jobs of the future will be in manual tasks that are too complex to be easily automated and in creative industries that are demanded for entertainment purposes (they won't strictly be needed because computers will already be capable of composing music and writing films and poetry that is indistinguishable from that of a human author, but people will still demand 'authenticity')

The biggest conversation in public discourse will be about politics, sociology and economics. In a time when people can fabricate almost anything they could possibly desire, the gap between rich and poor will change to access to scarce public resources such as parklands and public space. The rich will live in sprawling suburbs, the poor will live in tightly packed urban areas. But with cheap energy and improved technology to convert sea water to drinking water, we will see large areas of arid land converted into much more desirable landscape (similar to how Dubai is today)

Money will pour into the tourism and leisure industry, which will focus on preserving areas on natural beauty for the enjoyment of the wealthy and privileged, but even for the poor and average incomes, virtual reality will be so advanced that people will be able to accept virtual experiences for most of their leisure time, and reserve reality for occasional experience holidays.
