Leaving Markievicz gym - Westwood Clontarf ????

    Hello,

I'm leaving the Markievicz Gym as of today because while the staff are all very nice I've slipped more than once on the greasy sauna seating (once having a very bad fall), also had one of the seats break completely when stepping up to the highest bench and waited for weeks for these issues only to be resolved in part.

I addition to this the pool floor is currently covered in what I'm told is sand from drains and the general level of hygiene and facilities (toilet paper in toilets) is frequently poor.

I'm considering Westwood Clontarf as its location suits. I'd be mainly using it Mon - Wed evenings.

    • How busy is the pool / sauna at these times?
    • Is there plenty of room in the changing rooms?
    • Is the pool / sauna clean?
Has anyone any idea what the lowest price I could bargain for would be?

Any other recommendations of gyms with 25 m pool / sauna in city centre or beside a dart station between Kilbarrack and Sydney Parade?

    Cheers
