    Mc Ilroy /gmac
    Stenson/kaymer
    Rose/ Sergio

    I'd guess at:

    Foursomes:
    McIlroy/Garcia
    Stenson/Kaymer
    Poulter/Rose
    Westwood/Donaldson

    Fourballs:
    McIlroy/McDowell
    Poulter/Rose
    Bjorn/Gallacher
    Garcia/Dubuisson

I'd have thought that Poulter and Rose are the biggest shoe-ins as a pair. Both have excellent Ryder Cup records, they've gelled well in the past and both are likely to play at least 4/5 of the matches.

Wouldnt have Westwood anywhere near the foursomes. Fourball suit him better.

    Morning foursomes

    Rose/poulter
    Garcia/mcilroy
    Donaldson/Gallagher
    Gmac/someone

Rose poulter great pairing last year, should be totally reignited.

Garcia mcilroy seem to be great friends on tour, would be a formidable pairing

Donaldson Gallagher. Meet seem odd but they've been fantastically consistent all season and when both were in contention for the ryder cup team they seemed to be trying to push each other along.

Gmac someone. Gmac too good not to be in foursomes. Dont know who youd put him with though. Maybe stenson

    Dubuisson/McDowell
    Stenson/bjorn
    Kaymer/Westwood
    Garcia/mcilroy

Rors and Garcia will play together, iId bet my house on that one.

then my guess for other first day pairings are as follows, but not sure who will sit out the foresomes, but I do think everyone will play the first day.

    Rose & Poulter
    Stevie G & G Mac
    The Great Dane & Stenson
    Westie & JD
    Kaymer & Victor

I really think everyone has to play the first day.

Save Westy and Dooby for the fourballs. Maybe Kaymer too.

Anyone who's a little out of form, save for the 4balls as any of those out of form guys can make birdies, as well as bogeys

yea I had though of that, and maybe teaming up Stevie G with Westie... though I also think there might be a chance of JD playing with Stevie G

I'm not sure I have as much optimism as other when I see Mcilroy and Garcia paired together. Both players tend to let bad shots/bad luck get into their heads. It would be better to have an eternally optimistic person like GMAC paired with either Mcilroy or garcia to be positive if things arent going their way.

    Foursomes:
    - Rose & Poults ( good combo)
    - Mcilroy and Gmac (have played together and can show that off field events have no bearing)
    - Kaymer & Bjorn (Steady)
    - Garcia & Stenson (Experience and optimism)

    Fourballs:
    - Mcilroy & Gallagher
    - Wetwood & Victor
    - Kaymer & Stenson
    - Garcia & GMac

    M2C FWIW

Looks good but Poulter will play all the 4ball and i expect to see him out every session if things are tight.

    Mcilroy/Gallagher match 1 Friday.

World no1 with hometown boy, will be crucial to get the crowd going early, this is a real possibility as far as ive been told.

    Be a great decision.

With McGinley picking Westwood, I can only assume he had his mind made up about some of his pairings. i.e. Garcia and Westwood to rekindle their foursomes (3.5 pts from 4 matches) and four-ball (2.5 pts from 4) pairings.
However, I would be surprised if they were paired up again, considering their putting wobbles.
Both Teams to play all their players on day 1.

    Friday. Foursomes:
    Rose / Poulter v Big Phil / K Bradley
    McIlroy / Donaldson v Bubba / Simpson
    Garcia / Westwood v Z Johnson / H Mahan
    McDowell / Dubuisson v Kuchar / Fowler

    Four-ball:
    Stenson – Bjorn v Furyk - Reed
McIlroy – Gallacher v Big Phil - Spieth
    Kaymer - Rose v Walker - Z Johnson
    Garcia – Westwood v Bubba - Simpson

Might be a bit much pressure on Gallacher in a foursome. But yea I can definitely see them paired up for the four-ball.
