Is it just me or are spiders bigger nowadays?

That's my question to ye, what do you think? Maybe not as much bigger but rather thicker. I grew up in the 90s and from then to around 2010 the kind of spiders I'd see would be small black ones or crane flys (if you count them, they're similar). Hah.. Reminds me of a gigantic cockroach I seen in Thailand.. It was so big, you could hear it run aswell.

I could probably get used to a Boris if he managed to keep the apartment free from cockroaches!
