Would you go casually jeans top etc or does the whole dress, skyhigh heels, fake tan/eyelash, 3 layers of makeup float your Boat?
    Opinions please :)

I wear my best Nike tracksuit if we're going to the opera, but if it's just the pictures, I wear me Le Coq Sportif one.

Fancy pants, frilly shirt, glitter everywhere, feather boa and sometimes a tutu.

    Just like me da,

Usually boxers first, then jeans, then tshirt, then socks.

Unless I'm going commando, in which case I leave out the boxers.

Beef feed bag as a dress. It's waterproof and recycled!

I'm actually from Laois, it's sort of a mix between Dublin and Nigeria.

    I wouldn't have thought 5ft 6" is small for a woman?

Maybe a dress but usually a skirt and top. I wear heels but not 6 inches and I hate shoes with a platform. Have never worn fake eyelashes in my life and only ever wear a light layer of tan when I'm going out. Like to keep it classy ya know yoursel

I'd be lucky if I managed two or three inches - anything more is too painful and has me nearly crippled.

Smart casual for the most part. If heading out for a casual bite to eat or a few drinks then it will be dark jeans or chinos, a fitted shirt, blazer. Like to think I dress well, and in a style that suits my age. Nothing worse than seeing a man in his 30's wearing baggy bootcut jeans, converse runners and a cheap t-shirt.

I wear dresses pretty much all the time. It's a rare thing for me to be in jeans any time of the day as I find them difficult to buy.

Heels would depend on my mood, usually wedges. Make up also depends on the mood, sometimes I wear very little, other times I go a little heavy on eyeshadow, never wear lipstick.

Because I wear dresses all the time people tend to think I'm very dressy, when the reality is I like a dress because it's one outfit in one go. No matching of anything. And they fit and suit my body shape! And I don't "accessorise".

I like my hair to be nice though. If my hair is good, nothing else matters really.

    What about you OP?

I've often ended up out in jeans and t-shirt I've been wearing for 2 days... But really depends on which of my multiple personalities is dominant that day. I could look like a biker chick, barbie or Rainbow Brite on any given night.

I usually wear dresses, everywhere, even to tesco doing the shopping. I have ridiculously weird legs so jeans just look wretched on me and its so hard to find a pair that fit right, if its ok in the hips it's too big on the waist and its never the right leg length.

I'll always wear heels on a night out. Depends on the dress as to what kind of heels but they would be anything from 2 inches to 6 inches. But I'll always have a pair of flats in my handbag.

My makeup is always done. I know they say only do a heavy eye, or a striking lip and not both together, but I love smokey eyes and red lips are my thing so ill usually have lots of makeup on, although I am getting better at trying out different lip colours the last few times I've been out.

Don't really bother with eyelashes but when I do, it's the individual ones. They look better on me. I never really wear tan. My skin is super pale but it's nice, and I have dark hair and dark eyebrows and usually a deep red lipstick on so pale works.

I'm crap and fairly boring with my hair. Straighten it, back comb it, and curl the ends of it is as exciting as it gets.

Hate jewellery, sometimes I wear earrings but rarely. I'm getting better with chains but hate anything around my wrist or on my fingers.

Makeup and shoes is where it's at, I'm not fussed about the rest.

If going to a pub skinny jeans, nice top & heels, not too high as I'm 5'11
if its a night in town then maybe dress or skirt/top
Was out for food Saturday evening with friends and we decided to go for drinks and stayed out, I felt we stuck out like sore thumbs dressed casually, think we went to the wrong pub!

    Depends.

If we are off out to the local it's fairly casual, if it's somewhere special it's different.

Get the rubber gimp suit out of the back of the wardrobe. A quick dusting of talcum powder, and it's ''chocks away''!

I can't dress myself, I'm a complete fashion disaster. :( Where do people manage to find things that match? I'd usually go casual with a bitta slap. When I'm rich I'll be hiring someone to find nice clothes for me and dress me appropriately.

I'm 5ft 5" and wear heels (but only medium height) and look plenty tall. Never been known as small, including without heels.

Casual - my good pair of jeans, a top - something that I would consider fancy but it probably isn't, black runners cleaned with a baby wipe or polished, very little make up. A tinted cream and that's it.

Jeans and hoodie. I'll probably disgrace myself anyway, why does if matter what I wear? :pac:

Depends on which circle of friends tbh. Some of my mates they're still rocking the grunge look, some of 'em are so inked they'd give Dulux a good run for their money (I do love a well done tattoo job), some of 'em have more piercings that you'd wonder how the fcuk they ever get through an airport scanner (one girl she has those hockey pucks in her ears like that African or Bolivian tribe that escapes me), and then there's my other circle of mates that dress like they just strutted off a Milan catwalk.

They never know what to make of each other when I'd be out with someone from one circle and we meet someone from the other circle, but because all my mates are sound out anyway they don't be long getting along :D

Jeans and trainers (not white trainers)

Top half could be anything, polo shirt, shirt, jumper, hoody, track top depending on what's 'ready to go' when I open the wardrobe :p

Shirts usually don't get too much of a wear on weekends cos I have to wear them for work during the week.

I have waaaaaaay too much clothes!

Blood splattered boiler suit and a hockey mask. Machete too, if it's something formal.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,428 ✭✭✭Talib Fiasco

Curved chinos or jeans and then I decide on the colour and style of tshirt or shirt I will wear based on the pants colour. Might wear a hoodie if it suits. Shoes are always canvas type and colour depends on the clothes I wear.
