how do people wash them? By hand or just throw them in the washing machine?

You can do either, as far as I know.

But turn them inside out after using and let them air out rather than leave in your bag, if you don't want them to smell like the arse of a sweaty badger.

Ah yeah, I air them out after using them but reckon they'll need a proper wash eventually.

Had a gander and it seems you can do hand wash or machine wash.

I used to find neoprene got particularly bad. Maybe that's just me...

I washed mine over the weekend. Just threw some washing up powder into a bucket of hot water and left em soaking for a few hours. Good as new now.

Mine have gone into a 40 degree wash every month for the past year and a half. Still good as new.

I wash mine weekly in the washing machine at 40degrees and a year later they're still as good as new!

I take them in the shower with me after training - turn them inside out and rinse them under the shower. Then they air dry overnight. Simple enough and keeps them totally odour free for me.
