I'm dreading the dark mornings already that we inevitably will have in the Winter.

Thinking of buying one of these 'Dawn Simulator Clocks' or something similar.

Brothers mother in law has one and said she wouldn't be without one now.
She uses it at night too, before bed and said that she couldn't believe how much her sleep pattern improved...

    Any boards members try one?

These lamps are supposed to be great, they're expensive and I can understand the reluctance to invest, but i'd imagine it would help with sleep, they also help with Vit D and/or skin issues.

you should also use Flux for your laptop

That's the thing isn't it.. a small price to pay if it improves your sleep/health

I mostly use ipad/iphone. I do turn brightness down but I'm a brat for looking at it before bed!

i have a lumie and in my opinion they are worth it... they wake you up gradually and you dont get the shock from an alarm going off. When i use it i tend to feel a lot less grogy that when i wake up suddenly with an alarm..
