So I loaded up the classic that is Call of Duty 4 on PS3 this morning and....

Lobbies full of players, 7 years later....... Team Death matches within seconds. I handn't slipped the disc in years and found myself running the single player for a few hours. I now remember why this was a classic, the relatively grounded story, and I'm not fond of FPS at all.

Brilliant stuff altogether and is probably the best single player campaign mode in the COD series. I played about 10 hours of multiplayer over the last couple of weeks and didn't come up against much hacking.

Going to move onto MW3 and see how that compares.

MW3's campaign has it's moments, a lot of it is rehashed from the previous two but it's tied to both of them story wise. There's an absolutely brilliant mission in Paris later on in it.
