Got off fairly lucky this week with injured players only Ramsey & Costa flagged, have Naismith off the bench if one of them doesn't play. Wish the United game was on today though, waiting to see if Di Maria/Falcao will be a perfect pairing or a disaster :eek:

So I have a dilemma, I'm on my wildcard but I'm stuck between Rooney or Van Persie this week? I dont plan on keeping either long term but given that Falcao has just arrived abd hasn't played much football I think it's too much of a risk given my poor start.

I brought in Aguero for Sturridge. He's getting very little attention so could be a good differential.

Front line is Costa, Aguero and Rooney so hopefully points will follow.

Got mario in for sturridge with my FT. Have the next hour to decide whether to take a 4 pt hit to get hazard in for ramsey and make him captain.

The three threads serve kind of unique purposes so while it might seem anal they're all worthwhile in their own rights. The transfers thread will kick off today at 11.31, I don't usually join in till later in the week but it gets quite busy there straight away. The matchday thread will run to 1000 posts of mostly pointless stuff you don't want to be ploughing through if you're looking to tinker with your team. The captain thread just gives us a unique perspective of what our community(sad I know) is thinking, all the other sites do a captain poll and we are sometimes very different results wise.

End of the day there's more pointless threads here and throughout boards, we like it this way:o

I've said it before and I'll say it again: there's too many FPL threads in this forum and it's getting worse season on season.

For captain I'm going Rooney with VC on Ramsey, starting Sterling and would captain him but for fear over him being benched

its more to do with my captaincy options. Mario has had a bug so cant see him getting the full 90 and rvp who may not start or could be subbed off early for falcao being my best options. Im assuming hazard is on pens although I know people have mentioned costa could get them. Anyway think Im not going to bother with hazard and toss a coin for mario or rvp.

are you really happy to play burnley keeper every week? I would not be
midfield and attack looks really good BUT let's say Costa is not fot this week of aguero another week ......who comes off your bench?????? Moore is the only likely starter
just noticed you also have a burnley defender!!!!
you need to downgrade a midfielder or one striker to get more starters or you will end up with 9\10 players some weeks

Get rid of Manquillo as he won't be a regular starter. Your defence is awful but if change Manquillo to Wilson you could upgrade dummet(who probably won't play) to Taylor. I'd switch Heaton to Krul too but bonus points for being the first person ever to pick him

I'd go for Mario.
More likely to get full 90 and looked pretty dangerous in the last match.
He also has a point to prove after not starting for italy.
