+1. For a really good laugh watch the "acting". You need to be rotten drunk to not hit speed search.

Some good suggestions, just nearly through bad neighbours now, not that good IMO thought it would be better, the reviews are way over the top.

Bill and Teds Excellent Adventure is always a good bet for the perpetually drunk and stoned. Actually, anything with Keanu Reeves in it makes sense when your mind has been altered.

    Any of Mel Brooks' classics.

    Start with Young Frankenstein.

Chinatown - Just settle in, pour your drink of choice and let yourself get immersed in this amazing movie set in 1930's Los Angeles

I'm watching Maximum Overdrive now, Stephen King's best directorial work.

He was stoned when he made it, I'm stoned watching it. :)

You haven't lived until you've watched Apocalypse Now with a six pack and perhaps a smoke. Fire blazing, some good company, nibbles, and a decent sound system and big TV. Reviews sum it up: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/apocalypse_now/

Got me through some tough times as a youth.

The rightfully notorious Showgirls drinking game is apocalyptic.
There are two or more nipples (male or female) on screen. Really, you can just drink every time there are THREE or more nipples on screen. It won't matter. This game will destroy you.

I have seen this film literally dozens of times. I have no idea how it ends.

For full effect, you need to be on acid. Liquified LSD (Sgt. Pepper quality).
Only problem is when you put napalm on the barbecue and start drinking petrol.
May the late great Dennis Hopper rest in peace.

Road House.. A classic 80s cheese fest and uninrentially hilarious..

That and plenty of other 80s action movies notably Tango and Cash, Commando and of course, Predator

Yeah, Lighthouse Cinema in conjunction with Grindhouse Dublin have late night 80s screenings every so often. Two weeks back we had Cobra and The Running Man. Had forgotten what a cheesy gem Cobra was. This Saturday from 10pm, the Lighthouse are screening The Breakfast Club and Real Genius. These late night double bills usually finish up around 2am and generally most people are pissed. Tends to be the odd heckling and stuff as you can imagine when people are watching 80s flicks, pissed, late at night but overall they worth attending.

    The Raid,

Despite having no training, my martial arts skills increase exponentially after a few drinks.

Some low-brow comedy; Eurotrip, Big Lebowski, Beerfest and even the Jackass.

Some Classic Simpsons is also excellent when drinking.

I would usually watch something in the lines of smokey and the bandit.

WRT AndonHandon's post above, I prefer Family Guy as my cartoon of choice while drinking.
