lads, more than likely i wont be playing in the winter. just want to give you some background- right now ive alot on.

mondays i have my own team.

tuesdays i have my u-10 team training and they have stepped up into the league now, so it has to get my full attention. they play saturdays.

im still involved in GAA and will be playing hopefully for the next 6 weeks, that takes up my thursdays and sundays.

i just cannot fit in another 2 hours on a tuesday night at the moment. last season i missed half the games due to injury and part of that was down to playing too many games every week. ive (hopefully) gotten over the injuries, but i also need to be careful.

ill help out as much as i can however, if you are stuck for a keeper on certain nights, ill play when i can.

Hi Lads,

Your division kicks off on next Tuesday October 7th.

At the moment there is an odd number of teams in your division so you don't have a game this Tuesday.
We will keep you posted but take it that you will be playing your first game on the 14th of October.

Fixtures are not yet on the website but will be in the next few days

All the other leagues are back - good luck getting a booking on benildus. Only option would the vacant pitch in wesley not being used because we don't have a game.
I don't care anyway, I can't play but if you were doing a friendly, Wesley would be the place to do it - get used to the pitch again.

What did the ref do exactly? He went off but by the time i hobbled back to where all our bags were he was back on. Yellow card presumably?

If stuck for a keeper at any stage I'm willing to do a job, can run/jump on the ankle fine, just kicking and tacking are an issue.

lads just a heads up, i am travelling with work on tuesday 21st october and then again on Tuesday November 4th, so i am missing both days.

The league have said there are only 5 teams in our league, so it looks like we'll be moving to the medium standard, just waiting to firm things up with the league, Des was only told on Friday evening this was the case and astro aren't open over the weekend so hopefully we'll have news today

The league gave us 3 options

1. Move to Monday, but that would put at least 2 of our players in a bad position, as we would have been joining Rocco's league
2. Move to Medium standard Tuesday - which is what we are doing
3. don't play and re-join in the summer.

They haven't confirmed to me a fixture list or anything, so I can't assume there is a game tomorrow, and getting a friendly organised for tomorrow isn't going to happen.

this is going to be a really really tough league, on top of the 5 teams we are used to, ODwyers, Dell and Bowser Castle (a top class side) are all really good.

next week we play bowser castle and a lad i work with, used to play for their grass side.

they are supposed to be an excellent outfit.

Exiles are playing Bowser, hopefully they draw and Odwyerski are playing Dell, which is probably going to be a win for Odwyers.

A win would probably see us go 4th
