Do I get letter for repeats

I had to do a few repeats last week am I right in assuming that if I failed anything I will receive a letter in post tomorrow? before the results are released on Friday. Maybe they totally stop doing letters but I thought this was how it works. Anybody know for sure.

I've gotten a couple of fails over the years and never got a single letter about them.

Results out at 12 noon tomorrow which is a bit annoying. Absolutely bricking it.
