Two pin light bulb lamp

    Hello,

I intended to change an incandescent bulb from a ceiling lamp for a new LED bulb, however when I was going to remove it I found that the socket had two pins and the bulb works with pressure instead of having a screw base. Do you know if there's something like an adapter from two pin socket to screw base socket?

It would be great that I could upload some pictures however since I am new in the forum I don't know whther it's possible to do such a thing.

    Thanks for your time.

Thanks for your soon answer Sir Arthur Daley. It's good to know they're called bc bulbs, however I already have a LED bulb with screw base. Also I prefer LED than energy saving bulbs, to be honest I don't like last ones.

Yes, I think it is rose fitting.

The bulb I want to replace is bc incandescent, the new one is LED not halogen.

Sounds like you need one if these.
