    Hi folks,

I'm hoping to pick up a couple of gaming PC's with dual monitors for work and we're looking at a Scan built system. We need Nvidia cards for some of what we do so can't go AMD and also as it's a commercial purchase we'd rather buy pre-built and have warranty etc. for a builder like Scan. Am I making any crazy miss-steps in the build below:

Corsair Carbide Series 200R Compact Mid Tower Performance Case with USB 3.0 w/o PSU
    ASUS H81M-PLUS MOBO
    Intel Core i5 4460, S 1150, Haswell Refresh, Quad Core, 3.2GHz, 3.4GHz Turbo, 1100MHz GPU, 32x Ratio, 84W
84GB Corsair 3XS Only Vengeance LP Black 1600Mhz C9 Module
    2GB EVGA GTX 760 Superclocked ACX, 28nm, PCIe 3.0 (x16), 6008MHz GDDR5, GPU 1072MHz, Boost 1137MHz, Cores 1152
    CX600M Semi-Modular Bronze PSU
    1TB Seagate ST1000DM003 Barracuda 7200.14 SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm 64MB Cache 8ms NCQ OEM
    Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE 24x DVD±R, 8x DVD±DL, DVD+RW x8/-RW x6, x12 RAM Dual Layer SATA BLACK OEM
    Edimax EW-7612PIN V2, PCI-E (x1), 300Mbps, Wireless Adaptor
    2 x 22" iiyama ProLite E2278HSD-GB1 Black LED Monitor DVI/VGA 1920x1080 250cd/m² 5M:1 5ms Speakers, VESA
Cooler Master Devastator Gaming Backlit MB24 Keyboard & MS2K Mouse 2000dpi
Microsoft Windows 8.1 64Bit DVD English International OEM

    Thanks,
    John

The budget is quite restrictive so trying to get as much performance as possible and as these will be used for educational purposes I think the SSD shouldn't be necessary.

There's also this from HWVS that comes in about the same cost with 2 monitors:

    Intel® Core i7-4770K
    DVD-Brenner S-ATA
    Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 WF 3X 2048 MB DDR5
    (Dual-Channel) 8192 MB-Kit (2 x 4096 MB)
    ASUS H87-PLUS (C2), 1150, ATX
    Corsair Carbide Series 300R
WD Caviar Green 1TB, SATA 6Gb
    LAN 10/100/1000 MBit
    Microsoft Windows 8.1 64-bit

Dual monitors? Education? Gaming? Perhaps elaborating on exactly how they are going to be used might make things clearer.

For the price of those little monitors you'd be better off getting a single 27" 1440p korean monitor for each build.

Can you fill out the template linked in the read this before posting sticky
