upc remote issue

    looking for help

    my upc remote is causing me some issues.When i press the TV button it flashes once and then goes straight to the UPC button and flashes twice.
    it doesn't let me control my tv anymore so in order for me to turn my tv off i have to unplug it.
    anyone have the same problem?
