Irish meat labelled "Organic"

    Irish meat labelled "Organic". Just wondering what does this actually mean in terms of how the meat is prepared and how the animal is treated? What are the differences that make this meat allowed to be labelled organic?

    Safe your money. Irish beef and lamb frass fed for most of year anyhow. Have two organic beef farmer friends, no major difference, less fertilisers, no sprays etc but with nitrates directive this is not a big deal anyhow.

    Given horrible nature of mass production of chicken and pig meat, safe your money for organic/free range chicken/pork

    Thanks a million, that's very interesting. I eat chicken regularly and recently have been seeing some really scary stories about the poultry industries in the UK.
