Generic vs branded meds

I've recently changed pharmacy and they dispense me now the generic version of medications I've been on for about 2 years.
Since I've changed pharmacy, I'm now getting brain shocks (medications I'm on have not changed).
The composition of the tablets are different (i.e. capsules vs. solid tabs etc. or vice versa).
I know that the chemical make-up of the generic meds are the same, but could the differences in how they are being dissolved in my body be the cause of these brain shocks?

Also, have I the right to request the branded version?

Whatever a brain shock is, it sounds like something a GP would be able to answer.

I'm waiting for my GP to come back after lunch before I can get talking to her.
I was just wondering whether the brain shocks have me brain not working the best or whether it's due to the change to generic meds?
Hoping someone else had experience of the same.

I wouldn't think that changing from a branded medicine to generic would cause you to start having "brain shocks"
Are these related to your original reason for taking medicine? You probably need to undergo some tests as only a doctor can tell you for certain

Of coarse if you want to ask to be dispenced the branded medicine you can. It'll cost you more but you can ask for it
