WIX sites - Can you back up files / data ?

Hi All,

My mate has a site on WIX - he hates it ( it being the WIX service ) and wants to take his site / content and move to a proper hosting / website

I've seen online that people have terrible trouble trying to get there site off wix and on to a normal hosting account.

There's close to 100 pages.. I've tried HTTrack but didn't work ( nearly sure I set it up correctly )

Does anyone know of something I can use / do ?

I can't see any other easy ways of migrating though I didn't look past the 2nd page from Googling 'migrate wix site to wordpress'. Unfortunately the way wix locks in the content works hard against your mate. So it looks like $39 or roll up the sleeves.
