Just got accepted from the waiting list. Absolutely delighted!!
What goes on , on the 29th? do we have to stay the weekend? I've a game on the 30th so I don't know what to do

As far as I know you can check in from the 29th but dont think there is anything going on until the 1st year orientation on the first of Sept but could be wrong.

Going up on Sunday. Anyone know what the story is with the parking? I know I'm supposed to get a provisional permit and display it until I get the original one. But it says that there's no parking on campus overnight due to safety reasons ? Where am I supposed to leave my car ?

I think its just non-residents who cannot park overnight. i.e. any visitors who may stay the night e.t.c.

Hi got an email earlier from corrib there was something in it about car parking but I just glanced through it. Check it out maybe you received one

As far as I can make out you apply for a temporary permit and then you apply for your normal one which will be issues within 5 days. If you havent applied for the temporary one i would do it asap.

I got the email as well. The temporary one is basically a thing you download off the internet and then print off. I also got the apply form. That's not an issue. It's the overnight parking issue I am worried about.
