Electric Picnic tickets to be won with Electric Ireland, marking #PowerBallads!

Electric Ireland is Official Energy Partner for Electric Picnic 2014! This year we're all about #PowerBallads, and to get everyone in the mood, Bonnie Tyler will be on stage at the Electric Ireland Powerhouse, Saturday 30th August! That's not all though – we're bringing the '80s for the entire festival weekend! See www.powerballads.ie for the full Electric Ireland Powerhouse line-up.

To get you to this sold-out event, we're giving away a pair of tickets to one very lucky winner here on Boards! To be in with a chance to win, just post your favourite line from a power ballad to this thread! One post per person (but that post can include more than one lyric if you wish!)

So what is a power ballad? It's quite broad - can cover both rock and pop, can be from any era (although it seemed to be particularly an '80s thing!) but most importantly: it's all about the power - melodramatic, anthemic and BIG!
So if you love a song (or songs) fitting the above bill, get posting those lyrics for the chance to win a pair of Electric Picnic 2014 tickets!

The competition will run until the afternoon of this Friday, 22nd August, with the winning entry being announced shortly thereafter.
