Seagull.....is that a pool of oil I see under it? :p:D:D

Great setup, lovely workmanship but I'd hate to have to polish the metalwork after every use. Is there some sort of oxidization inhibitor / lacquer that can coat the metal?

You will have to build a 'Swallows & Amazons' style clinker dinghy for it!

If you wax the metal after you polish it seals up any tiny pores in the metal and helps it stay shinny a bit longer, if you use enough of it you can also seal up any oil leaks :p
