    hello ...........

    i want to put lighting in my shetland 570 boat just the cabin part for when i,m doing an over nighter in it . something i can run off the battery . i was thinking them 12volt LED lights .. any one got any ideas ????

    fergal your good at this sort of thing any suggesting ???

    I think I would go with basic battery powered push on LED lights you can buy a pack for a few quid and wont have the hassle of running wires or switches plus if you forget to turn them off they wont run down your motor battery:)

    My neighbour once put those exact same lights in under the kitchen cabinets to save the bother of running cables. There is feck all light off them and it's a funny blue colour :(

    Now that was a few years ago, maybe they have improved since but I doubt it

    got them lights in the euro shop in thomas street 1.50 each will do the job .

    Looks good you should have enough light out of them and for €4.50 cheep as chips with no messing around with wires.:)
