can anyone tell me why, when i count up the price of my team it is 1.5 million short of what the fpl has it rated at.......im not sure if i explained it well but lets say my team (according to fpl) is worth 100 million and when i count it up its worth 101.5 million...

When a player in your team rises in value, you only get half of that rise when you decide to sell. So for example, you have Aguero in your team from day one, but you decide to sell him now. His current value is listed as 12.3, up from 12.0 on gameweek 1. A rise of 0.3 in total. The sell on fee means you will only gain 0.1 of this (50% and rounded down).

    Lots of changes tonight.

Mannone, Pelle, Aguero, Azpilicueta, Dawson and Di Maria all rise.
Notable fallers include Clichy, Ramires, Ferdinand and Diouf.

Well there goes my Azpi transfer. I'm now .1 mil short.

I got him in at the start of the break as I had no leeway on price, Pieters was dropping and had exactly 6.0 so gambled, glad I did now but could quote easily have backfired as well.

I think I'll go PVA to him now anyway. Sunderland are meant to have tough fixtures coming.

I'm stuck with Mannone fixtures or not but keepers have returned little this season so not overly bothered.
Getting Azi in for PVA is a big upgrade as it was for me.
Hoping he will return bonus and cs from here on!

Can't believe Azpi rose  ! Ditto Mannone ...

Think we can now officially ignore completely predictions sites, despite all their good work and efforts. Utter shame. Azpi was one of the player I monitored over the break. He was supposed to be far enough from rising ...

That's a perfect example of the "random chaos" I was afraid of when we first discovered the new price changes policy.

You mentionned the key words. We now have to gamble early. That's ridiculous. I really don't get why FPL made this change.

Ya. Iirc when I last checked FPLS last night at 9ish both Azpil and Mannone were nowhere near a rise. These rises bring an abrupt end to my plans for the coming week. Might end up having to sell Sterling now although with Sturridge confirmed out for another 4 weeks I doubt that this would be wise....

Azpi rising won't effect us now lads!

Lads any idea who is going up. Finger hovering on WC because Aguero, Tadic, Baines and a few other of my medium term targets look like they will rise significantly due to their scores this week.

FPLStatistics have Taylor, Duff & Ivanovic rising.
Fiso have Bertrand, Duff & Siggy.
    TotalFPL have nobody.

    The common denominator?

    They haven't a scooby doo! :pac::D:(

Anybody who's been using this fantasyfootballfix site been seeing how their price predictions are doing?

They have Henderson and Tadic to go up tonight.

None of the main two sites are predicting this.

I haven't been using it myself. Only just heard of it yesterday.

FPLS have Henderson closer to a fall than a rise. At least Fiso have him on their 1st page. Both sites have Tadic on their 1st page, but as you said, not near a rise tonight.

It really goes to show how the changes FPL have implemented this year are really catching everyone out. Huge degree of uncertainty added to the game now. As if it wasn't bad enough before!

Well, the only thing you can do is have a look at the amount of transfers in for the current round for these players and make a random decision...

    Aguero 41201
    Tadic 18635
    Baines 8622

40000+ is huge. But we don't know how much is the target...
They will definitely rise. Tonight? I don't know. From the figures I'd say Aguero and Pellè (30000+ already) have a chance to rise. Ulloa (20000+ out) a chance to drop. Hopefully that doesn't happen since the Ulloa->Pellïè move is my plan for this week but need to get £2.0m out of either Sterling or Ivanovic.

Fplstats have Tadic about 500 NTI's away from a rise tonight, he's getting in about 2,000 an hour at present, so I think he may sneak a rise.

I know they're not to be relied upon, but he's had 20k nti's today with a 116k ownership, and was rising steadily the previous few days.

This isn't going to make people happy but Baines was a riser tonight.

Baines, Aguero, Henderbus and Tadic all rise

15 fallers, none of major significance

Hmmm. FFfix correct on both counts. They also had Aguero and Baines next in line.

Promising young player worth keeping an eye on.....

    will azpi go down soon??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,794 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

Urgh.. Wanted to do Azpi to Baines and Sterling to Tadic last night but waited as neither FISO nor totalFPL had them rising.. Did it today, but now have .2 less that what I would've had yesterday. The bastards.

I didn't spot that my bench midfielder Dean Marney has fallen to 4.4. When did that happen?

Ah sure Marney is a "season keeper" anyway:pac:
Makes no difference whether he goes up or down, he'll never nail down a starting spot in my team .
He will get back into the Burnley team though right:o

I've been coveting Boyd for weeks though. And the one time the 5th mid comes into play, he doesn't. PVA's -2 hurts me more than Sterling or Welbeck's late points.

So as of 20:45 tonight, predictions for prices rises as follows:

    FFFix - Bertrand, Pelle
FISO - Bertrand, Duff, Pelle, Siggy
FPLStats - Pelle, Bertrand with Rose, Duff, Taylor and Hamer all between 99% and 100%
