I am looking to buy a nexus 5 online for as cheap as possible. I stumbled upon a website called eglobal central and the phone is for sale at €279 euro where as its €350 on the google play store. I wanted to know whether the website is trustworthy, im a bit sceptical on how the phone could be so cheap, I am worried that the phone may not be genuine or may have some issues when it arrives. All help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Its possible that its so cheap because of rumours of a nexus 6 coming out in the autumn, normally when google announce new devices, the older models drop in price.

Have a few queries - I'm thinking of getting the OnePlus One on eglobal central. I'm currently with Three (2 year contract is about to expire). I can upgrade with Three and get the S5/HTC One for €100 on a two year deal for €40.66 a month with pretty much unlimited everything.

If I get the unlocked OnePlus One, what would be the best option going forward as regards monthly billing? I'd have no problems moving from Three, but would I still be looking at paying €40 + per month or would there be a cheaper alternative?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm a bit of a noob!

Also if it gets caught at customs is it just VAT at 23% I'd get caught for and is it true that eglobal will refund this as mentioned above?

23% VAT + Dhl handling charge which is another 15. They might refund you, but then I don't think they would be helpful if a problem arises within warranty. You can get it guaranteed vat free from here as it ships from UK http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Original-Oneplus-One-Plus-One-64GB-3GB-4G-LTE-FDD-Android-4-4-Mobile-Phone-5/1939506316.html

It will work with all networks. If you're with eircom you can get an emobile bill pay sim for 24e. Unlimited calls, texts and 5gb data but you could probably persuade them into unlimited data. 48 have a similar deal for 20e. Meteor have unlimited everything for 30e.

Would say they would be MORE likely to help with warranty issues if you didn't request the Vat refund? (assuming you get hit?) or are you saying they are not great with warranty help in general?

    Hi,

Not related to the LG question but I had a very good experience with eglobalcentral.

I bought a Nexus 6P on their website last Wednesday. ~200 cheaper than the Google website. Phone's arrived already no questions over vat or delivery charges. Delivered to my door with DPD.

    I would recommend them!

What if you have problems with the phone, is it easy to avail of the warranty?
