Can anyone tell me what is involved in having all my teeth taken out please. I have 13 teeth left.
I have been on a lot of medication which resulted in me loosing a lot of my teeth. My dentist had advised me to have the remaining teeth removed for health reasons. Of course he has informed me that it will be OK and not to worry! But I am worried.HELP!!

It really depends on how they want to go about it op...

You could have them all done in one go under IV sedation or GA if you wish or in stages under local anaesthetic.

I usually recommend to have all the treatment done in one session and to be done with it....

It's no where near as bad as you would expect...

Ask if an immediate denture will be ready for after the extractions or if you will have nothing for a while afterwards while the denture is being made...

    Wow!!
I already feel better. I must say I agree with you on having them all done at the same time. My sincere appreciation for taking the time to reply.
