Hypnosis for sleep

Just wondering if anyone here has ever been hypnotised to improve sleep?
I'm a terrible sleeper. Every Sunday night without fail I spend the night tossing and turning. I love my job so it's not that I'm anxious about it or anything, and this happens even if I'm not working the next day. Usually I sleep ok from mon night on, but every Sunday night is a disaster. I know in my head I probably expect to not sleep these nights and this affects it too. I've tried reading before bed, counting, breathing/relaxation exercises etc and nothing works.
I also sleep poorly if I'm in a strange bed, so staying in a hotel or with friends results in very poor sleep, and if I have to share a room or bed with a friend or someone, I don't sleep at all.
I don't know what my problem is but I'm thinking hypnosis might help to overcome whatever the issue is. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Do you stay up late on Friday or Saturday night?

I would usually stay up about an hour or 2 later at the weekend, every now and then if I go out Sat night it could be 4am before I go to bed but I'd be up by 9.30am at latest anyway the next morning so I wouldn't be sleeping in very late or anything.

Try going to bed at your normal time every night next weekend, it may just be that staying up the hour or two later has messed up your body clock a bit. Other than that try some warm milk, a bath, or some relaxation techniques. Reading in bed isn't great because it keeps your mind active at a time you want it to be winding down.
