    New Order were never the same after Paolo Tullio and John Barnes left the band. Musical differences I suppose.

    I've huge admiration for Orla Tinsley for her writing and campaigning, I'm a fan of Joe Brolly and Paolo but this is NOT entertainment, it's no wonder so many people in Ireland are depressed if this is what light entertainment is supposed to be.

    Val Doonican used to do a joke about mishearing his teacher, and having his school do a collection for sixty five roses instead of Cystic Fibrosis.

    That was proper Saturday Night telly. Songs, Jokes, light entertainment and a Rocking Chair.

    RTE should really have a weekday evening programme for health and personal tragedy stories. I'm not saying that this kind of segment isn't worthwhile - just that it has no place on a light-entertainment show. Although it doesn't look like Miriam has any entertainment lined up tonight...
