Hi! I'm after doing my Leaving Cert and I will be out of school 3 months on the 14th, can I claim the Dole for the 2 weeks before I go to college? Thanks in advance for any reply! :)

I really really don't think so. I'm not sure if it's allowed, but most people wait months to get any payment :/

3 months is minimum to be out of school to claim the dole, that's all I know! :/

Yeah that's true, but what I'm saying is that it's not worth your while. I got mine a few weeks after applying, and I was lucky. Most people wait a very very long time to get their first payment.
