If you have a healthy diet you don't need magic beans weight loss pills.

I've used them before a few years ago and they really helped.

    Alli---ooops.....called that for a reason ;)

But they used to sell them in mccabes Pharma I think?

    Because of the healthy diet.

If you used them before and they worked and now you're looking to use them again, I would suspect the diet might not be all that healthy.

I'd have a look at that first.

Just searched on google and one of the first links to come up with a shop that's out of stock, so no use to you, but with some marketing info from'em.
Alli is a weight loss aid, an aid and not a miracle worker. Alli does not claim to be able to allow you to miraculously lose weight while living the lifestyle that you want to. All that Alli is offering you is the Alli weight loss solution, weight loss through the use of Alli pills and healthy lifestyle changes combined.

So with the bolded bit highlighted. Why do you want these or anything like them?

I moved to Canada for two years and they were not available there.

So you put on weight because you weren't taking them?

    Colour me sceptical.

I've used them in the past with a healthy diet and they helped lose that extra pound or two.

Then go back to a healthy diet and you should lose that.

Just tryin' to save you money but if you want to waste it on magic beans, then that's your call.

A "healthy diet" is not meant to be a fixer upper, it isn't just for (after) Christmas. They mention in their own marketing material that results are ultimately dependant on your lifestyle.

You are looking at this for an extra pound or two? Is that really a big enough difference? Also, how sure are you that Alli did it for you, considering they say their tablets don't affect weight loss?

I have used these when they first came out in the States. Got two bottles. Half way through one I stopped.
The only benefit I saw in them was that they ensured you ate low fat food for the fear of what would happen next.

If I was looking for magic beans, I remember a long time ago taking Melatonin as I traveled to the US every couple of weeks. They completely suppressed my appetite. Just a side affect though, but if you are having motivational issues, some over the counter medication may work.

However, I am attempting to lose some weight now but doing it through calorie restriction. I am also eating more protein and fats than I normally would as they are excellent at suppressing your appetite.

Either way - Alli - not worth the expense imho.

Come on Jamesy, tons of people have lost weight without them. You're being sold a crock.

And a big side effect is anal leakage I believe. Is it really worth it?

This. And if they really worked all that well, people wouldn't need to go back to them. They make your wallet lighter but they do not make your waist lighter
