Sorry, but unfortunately you can't pay for it with your Xbox.com balance, you have to start your sub with a credit card or PayPal account attached. (source: EA Access)

Note: As soon as you start your subscription, you can turn off auto renewal on Xbox.com just to be sure that you are not billed automatically on renewal.

    ah shite........

    I would say so.

But you could be talking after the Star Wars Battlefront launch, if Hardline online players drop off.

I doubt it will happen before hand.

I can't get in to the Access app at all, get an error saying my account is invalid. Anyone know the number for the Irish support centre? Their support website won't load for me on any computer or browser I try.

There's a facebook help page if that helps?

Yeah I actually posted on there earlier, they basically said try again. Been unable to play any ea game online for 2 weeks now!

From EA Access' Twitter: "Hey members, get ready for a new game in The Vault. More news next week @E3."

The only games left to go in the Vault are Titanfall, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield Hardline. Unless they announce and release something silly like Simpsons Tapped out on Xbox, this is awesome news. Respawn have said in the past that Titanfall will not be part of the Vault. and even the EA Access page says "TITANFALL EXCLUDED FROM ALL EA ACCESS FEATURES".

Man, i'm going to feel like a moron for buying Dragon Age if it ends up in the vault, parrticularly since I haven't gotten around to playing it yet :o

Would have to figure it's Hardline. Dragon Age is the kind of game that will continue to sell for years to come because there's so few games like it on the console right now.

Hard-line would hardly go up that quick though, would say it would be Dragon Age

Hardline never really caught fire sales-wise and with Battlefront on the horrizon, isn't likely to shift many more copies. Giving it away now might at least help sell some of their DLC and season passes.

My money is on it being titanlfall.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,973 ✭✭✭rizzla

My money is on Dragon Age. The game has been on sale quite a bit, they probably have seen the sales drop. So just throw it in the vault. I'd be surprised if it's Hardline, to my knowledge the game hasn't even been in a sale always been full price on the store.

That is what they did with some sports games put it on sale then shortly later, throw it in the vault. Plus, the rpg genre isnt represented currently in the vault. Could really advertise the something for everyone thing.

Totally out there prediction though, what if it's PvZ Garden Warfare 2? Launches straight into the vault.

I suppose theres theoretically nothing stopping EA from reaching agreements with non EA publishers to put games in the vault? Take our games with gold running joke ryse. Sales of that must surely be limited to second hand copies at this stage. A cut of the ea access subscription fee would at least add some potential revenue stream to the games lifespan.

I checked out the EA Access page, it does mention EA games. It would seem like a logistical nightmare to include other publishers games. Vault games are meant to be in the vault "forever", the percentage given would be under 1% I'd imagine to allow the possibility of further third party games to be included.

    Also the t&c's mention Titanfall oddly;

Doubt it would ever be in the vault, probably has to do with MS's exclusivity deal.

You'd be amazed of the power of money though. Also, I have a feeling that the titanfall bits in the t&c was as much to protect sales of titanfall as anything else.

I'd say it's Dragon Age. When you release a vault game to align with E3 it's got to be something special.

I'm like mickeroo, bought that in a sale two or three months ago and haven't even launched it. Really hope it's not that!

I feel like you didn't read my post. OMG you guys, am I invisible? brb, robbing a bank and sneaking into the girls locker room.

I guess we'll find out the new Vault game at EA's E3 press event at 9pm GMT on Monday.

    Called it!

Titanfall has been added to the vault.

Great to see, hopefully going to give the player base a welcome boost.

Might try it again but I was on the BETA and I found it was making me nauseous with the camera movement in the Titan.

Ah I have Titanfall already and was hoping for Dragon's Age. Ah well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,618 ✭✭✭Mr Freeze

Kinda glad its not Dragon Age, I bought it in a sale a few weeks after launch and have barely played it.

I think I will stop buying EA games now and wait for vault releases.

great to see, I'm going to definitely try and play a bit more of this now, plenty scrubs to help me rank up. I'm still stuck on level five with that poxy gooser achievement.
