I'm hoping to go to Trinity in September (if all goes to plan) and I know there's a huge shortage of accommodation in Dublin.

But, do people know of any private student residences within a reasonable distance of TCD (i.e. < 30 minutes away) ?

NCI is pretty popular (10 min walk from the East end of college) but i'm not sure when applications close.

:( NCI halls booked up within two hours of going online. Never had a chance

Broadstone have some twin rooms available, but i was told this back in April so could be long gone by now

Get on the waiting lists for places, many are just booking places as backups in case they dont get college residences in DCU, TCD, UCD etc

I think Griffith is close enough. DCU is about an hours walk. I know of people who have stayed at both over the years.
