Would be excellent for showbox, xbmc or just a good media centre! Runs android too. Be a nice little system for browsing the internet, facebook, rte player abd could be used as a pc really.

Type android tv box into amazon and second link down. Cant post links yet :(

It's basically a small box running android that you connect to your tv. So you can install any app from the play store and use it.
They are mainly used for xbmc which is a media center app. It allows to connect to hard drives, nas etc. And watch the movies stored on it.
It also has add on files for popular online streaming such as 1channel and project free tv and hundreds more.
And more it has community created play lists where its contains a huge library of movies, tv shows, live channels and sports available to watch whenever.

    Hi Micks.

Want to order 2 of these, looks a great deal.

What seller did you go with and how long did it take to arrive?

Did you get caught for custom charges.

Also have you installed popcorn time?

If you did, how does it play?

Also does this thing have miracast?

Can't see any mention of it.

    Sorry for all the questions.

Sadly not, SkyGo only works with a select few Android devices and definitely not a no-name brand like this.

There's a full list on Sky's website somewhere.

Most of them are "paid" services.but "free" on the internet etc

My box arrived but i got lazy in setting it up so went to droid sticks and paid 30 for the remote install which is happening now just waiting for it to finish.

Standard Android layout, then XBMC app is installed. I'd assume its the standard XBMC skin to start.

I mean they're paid on the internet too. Unless the provider of the box is giving you some spin-off stream.
