Cornetto's have halved in size in the last few years. They used to be the size of a 99, now their the size of a screwball.

As have Moro Bars, Curly Wurly, Twix Bars, Yorkie and most other confectionery, but the best one I saw yesterday was the Cadbury Snack wafer. Reduced from three fingers to two but still at the original price.

When I was a kid, I'd get 20p and buy 5 boxes of matches @ 4p each, and go down to the fields and light fires. I went in one day to the shop and yer wan handed me 4 boxes. The robbing b@stards had put them up to 5p a box!:mad:
