232 for me which is really poor apart from Aguero and Hazard my capt picks have been shocking. I've never captained sanchez which is strange seen as I've had him since gw 8. Can you beat that low score fhfc.

Same as copper pipe, 230 points. 2 decisions stick out - not captaining Kun for his Spurs mega haul; and that Arsenal player v QPR that we will not name

I'm getting rid of Austin but may regret it. Its tight beteen him and Kane but Kane plays for a better team.

This is exactly the same for me too.

All of us with the same process could probably go without Costa and have Aguero/Kane/Austin instead, but I don't know - there's something that just doesn't sit right with me about not going with two premium strikers.

It comes down to Austin or Kane for me too. Kane plays in a better team, has better fixtures, and I expect Austin's production to slow down due to the difficulty of their home fixtures coupled with how poor QPR away.

Maybe I'll be wrong on that. That's the chance I'm taking.

Given Costa's ownership and the fact he plays for such a dominant team, I wouldn't be happy to go without him.

I am keeping an eye on Sturridge though. Apparently he's back in training.

    Ha! 234!! Some comfort, thanks.

What has me perplexed is the consistency of my recent run. I got 72 of that in the past 10 weeks compared to 161 in the first 11. Looking like my first half of the season was a bit better than I thought.

Sanchez v Burnley was the big on that put me ahead of you.

    Zieglers figure is ridiculous!! :)

    I like variety

    Agüero (5 times - 80 points - average 16 points)
    Hazard (4 times - 66 points - average 16.5 points)
    Rooney (2 times - 22 points - average 11 points)
    Costa (2 times - 24 points - average 12 points)
    Austin (2 times - 38 points - average 19 points)
    Yaya Touré (1 times - 16 points - average 16 points)
    Welbeck (1 times - 14 points - average 14 points)
    Sterling (1 times - 2 points - average 2 points)
    Sigurdsson (1 times - 22 points - average 22 points)
    Bony (1 times - 14 points - average 14 points)
    Benteke (1 times - 10 points - average 10 points)

EDIT: Terry has my highest base PPG at a beastly 8.8. Probably the best transfer I've made

Exactly the same for me. Austin out, Aguero in. Just can't be relying on 2 cheap strikers to keep delivering the goods. Costa is very much captainable and it just makes life easier having the front men from big teams

Looks like you've had only 3 or 4 blanks all seasons. Some going.

    Shamelessly robbed from Reddit

Click here for the overall top 3 selected players per position (for Gameweek 21).

The below charts show the percentage that each player was selected by the top 50 ranked managers.

    Goalkeepers
    Defenders
    Midfielders
    Forwards

Note: Players that were only selected by 1 manager have been excluded.

That's spot on. IT's how I worked out when the dgws will take place. I'm an IT dinosaur though so I couldn't present it in a format like that. There is an off chance of the carling cup gw 27 games been rescheduled as gw 28 dgw fa cup weekend. It requires those teams to be knocked out of fa cup at that stage though.

To play Sigurdsson (Chelsea, H) or Boyd (Palace, H) this weekend?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,109 ✭✭✭✭dahat

Boyd as Siggy has am ongoing foot problem according to Monk. A real possibility of some rest games for him soon.

With Jelavic and Hernandez out for 6 weeks or so (I think) what do we think of Robbie Brady's chances. Perhaps another false dawn but he came on up front last weekend :)

My total captain points is 300 but I've fired blanks the last 3 weeks which has left me very frustrated

    Agüero (7 times - 122 points - average 17.4 points)
    Costa (5 times - 72 points - average 14.4 points)
    Rooney (3 times - 26 points - average 8.7 points)
    Hazard (2 times - 34 points - average 17 points)
    Yaya Touré (1 times - 18 points - average 18 points)
    Sánchez (1 times - 20 points - average 20 points)
    Silva (1 times - 4 points - average 4 points)
    Austin (1 times - 4 points - average 4 points)

Beginning to think I must be seriously lacking in other aspects of my team if my captain picks have been so hot!

Hmmm I dunno, I'm a big Robbie Brady fan myself, but I'm not sure Bruce rates him too much. I'd thought he'd be a cert with his creativity and set pieces this season given Snoddy's long term injury, but he still hasn't seen that much game time, kind of bizarre considering Hull's lack of goals but like I said maybe Bruce just doesn't have that much time for him

Didn't see that coming. Would be a strange move for Taylor. He's first choice at Swansea.
