Where to get a scrap wooden boat?

Where could you get scrap wooden fishing boats, something like 15ft or 17ft?


I'm looking for a scrap wooden boat, dry, which I can use for garden furniture.

I'm in Galway.

It's probably the one question I get asked more than anything else "where can I get an old boat for the garden" Your best bet would be to check the local sailing clubs, boat yards and free adds or even put in your own add saying your looking for one. Thanks Fergal, I spotted the same one yesterday, its about the only one advertised right now, something like it would do but there must be alot more out there.

If your in galway , have a look around any of the marinas on lough corrib , surely theres a few old larch boats lying around.
