    What is the waiting period for vhi maternity cover and does it matter if u get pregnant during the waiting period but give birth after the waiting period

    As regards your hospital stay, your best bet is to ring them and check. Vhi won't cover your antenatal care anyhow, you'll have to pay the consultant for that separately

    Ya i went public last time and couldnt have gotten any better care than i did but this time ill have a two year old tagging along to the appointments which from experience in the maternity hospital near me involves hours of standing in coridors waiting which wont be easy with a little one
