Hi , What is portfolio? I'm going on 5th year , do I need to start my portfolio ? And do i submit my portfolio when I'm in 6th year? And any know how ,when to ,where to apply? I've tried to contact Ncad but no replies :(

A portfolio is a collection of your art work that shows your skills. You should be assembling pieces of work from at least 5th year, yes.
