A medium sized black Cocker Spaniel type dog has turned up on my mother's doorstep near Ferrybank. Unfortunately, he's got no collar. He could be a stray, of course, but I just wondered if anybody had heard of a dog of that description being missing?

Unfortunately, I'm not going to be there for a couple of days so I can't take one and my mum wouldn't be the most technologically up to date! Hopefully, the description might jog somebody's memory.

The good news is that we found the owners this morning and they'll be collecting him later today.
