How much is the price difference? All my Xbox warranty dealings have been directly with MS so I'd be going for the cheapest once I can be sure it's an EU console.

Smyths are €319.99. Tbh you shouldn't have any issue if you hold onto your receipt and register the console with MS.

Doesn't matter, I wouldn't trust some dodgy "fone" shop down a dodgy street.

Just seen it on HDUK. Great price for 4TB. Don't need one now but with next gen around the corner 4TB will be handy to have on standby :)

The one you've ordered requires its own power source. The one posted above is powered by USB3.

Why are Argos so odd with their pricing of games??

Two weeks ago I bought Gears 5 for €25.99, now they have it back up to €49.99??

A few times I have bought games for a bargain in Argos before they are back up to usual price a week or two later. Strange.

They have to put the price up to the max so when the sales come around they can slap a big red sticker with a big % reduction

Price has to stick for 28 days before they can put it on sale. It's a good indicator if you see something go up in price chances are it's going to be on sale soon.

Is the best plan still to stock up on a couple of years worth of Gold, then upgrade to ultimate for €1?

Yes. Saves hundreds getting the upgrade over just subbing to Ultimate.

I purchased this today and redeemed the first Game Pass ultimate 3 month code fine.

When I try to redeem the second code, I get the following message: "You're attempting to downgrade your existing subscription."

Am I able to stack the two 3 months codes, or will I have to redeem the second one after the first 3 months expires?

Sorted now with Xbox Support, both codes stacked. They didn't say what the issue was, but sorted very quickly.
